Guns, Gambling and Bull riding!

We took a quick weekend trip to Las Vegas and had a great time!

Dustin made sure to pack his neck pillow...which we all made fun of multiple times.

We discovered that bull riding was in town the same weekend so of course had to check it out.
Dustin found the Tyson booth.

I can't remember the name of this bull but he's a retired champion.
He really wasn't as big as I thought a bull riding bull would be.

These two were super excited to find $3 Pabst on the strip.

We found much better things to drink.

We decided it would be fun to go to a shooting range.
It was FANTASTIC!

They got us all suited up in really cute ear and eye wear.

And then we got down to business.
Kerryann and I shot a glock and an AK 47!

Dustin shot some unique guns that I can't remember.
This one was a "Grease Gun."

I surprised myself with pretty accurate and consistent shooting.
I almost hit the "X" with the Glock.
I might need to do this again.

They were both fun to shoot but I think I prefer the small Glock.
This one left a bruise on my shoulder.

Dustin enjoyed his clown target.

There was also a lot of this....Dustin gambling and me drinking Starbucks.

We had a great time, saw a few shows and lost a little money!
We will be back again someday soon!

Farming Time!

The kids both love riding in the combine with Grandpa Steve.

Preston has told me more than once "There is no room for you, Mommy."
So, he packs a bag with snacks and drinks and a few tractors and off he goes with Grandpa.

Buddies.

After he was done in the combine, we hopped in the semi with Jerry!
Waiting for the semi to be filled was a little less action that he is used to.
He had his tractors all over the floor, a few ears of corn and we shared donut holes too while we waited.
But once it was full and we headed down the highway he LOVED that Jerry used the air horn about 10 different times!
We gave Grandma a good long honk when we pulled into the office where she was working!
Preston thought that was pretty funny.

Peighton got out early that afternoon so we headed back out to let her ride with Grandpa.
While we waited we did a lot more farming in the dirt.

We had a great day riding in the combine, the semi, helping Grandma Sue take lunches out, picking up some down corn and we even got to hop in the grain cart!
A great day for Bubba!
